change from TOPOFrance_v3_NordEst_Pro.IMG to gmapsupp.IMG and try
You were right, file name must be gmapsupp.IMG
The map loads now.
However, autorouting does not work, is this normal ?
i do not have SQL file for that map ( links on the forum have all been removed, i can't download it ) , maybe this is why autorouting is not working ?
By the way, is it possible to put more than 1 *.IMG file on a SD card in order to have several maps available ?
This is a Topo Map not suitable for autorouting, it's for hiking .
SQL database is to see trails in compatible outdoor devices , it is completely useless in Nuvis.
I don't know if your model can have more than one gmapsupp in sd, you can merge maps with GmapTool

nuvi 300/600 series can see only one image in SD:\Garmin folder named as said gmapsupp.img. Your only option is to merge maps as catymag suggests if you want more than one map in SD.

If i buy an Oregon 350, is it possible to combine more than 1 map on the SD card ?
Does this model require SQL folder ?
If you buy an Oregon 350, please tell me - it would be nice to have a non existing Garmin model
If you mean Oregon 450 - yes, it is possible to have more maps on µSD (more to this theme [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]).
The SQL is not required but usable on Oregon models x50 and 6x0.
I download the France V3 pro map from zippyshare and unlocked it.
After copying the data on a sd card everything works fine with basecamp but on my oregon 450 I can not get any altitude data. (0m everywhere)
With the same oregon configuration on other map I get the information. Any clue to help me ?
Those blue lines seem to be the boundaries of the coverage (outside) and some tile borders (inside) the covered area of the map.
Other GARMIN maps on big scales show the similar picture.
