Hi folks, I think this joined maps pack doesn't make sense any more since new Garmin models accept multiple individual maps and some older models had software updates allowing them to use two maps on SD card. I suggest you to take advantage of these features and use individual maps.

When I click on the link my broswer redirects me to a bunch of other sites, that have nothing to do with the package. Is there any secret? What can i be doing wrong?

anyname.img in a "Map" folder in sd, if it's a new nuvi
Example: Autoguia.img or Brazil.img

No you must put max 2 maps in Garmin folder in sd ,naming them to gmapsupp.img and gmapsup1.img, or join the .IMGs with GmaptoolQuote:

To use the three maps individually without the package, do as follows:
If you have a Nuvi series 2x5, 7x5, 465T, put one map, CNBR for example in /Garmin folder in internal memory renaming it as gmapprom.img and put the other two in /Garmin folder on SD card renaming them as gmapsupp.img (TRC for example) and gmapsup1.img (Autoguia for example);
If you have a Nuvi series 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 40, 50, put all of them in /Map folder in SD card or internal memory using any preferred names like CityNavigatorBR.img, TracksourceBR.img, AutoguiaBR.img
