You can use JCV but not SID, Zumo 660 supports Lane assist (guides to proper lane for navigation with junction view) but not trafficTrends™ (calculates routes based on predicted traffic flow).Quote:

Ty guys! Now waiting for 2013 maps!
I have the Nuvi 40, I put the new map and jcv on the sd card. The new map is working fine but the device can not show any junction view as the internal 2012.1 map (49 states only) before. I tried both the D3191040A.JCV and D3060050A.JCV files one at a time, the results are the same - no junction view shown. The junction view file is in the x:/GARMIN/JCV directory. Any idea what is the issue?

City Navigator North America NT 2012.40 unlocked Lower 49 states link for a Garmin nuvi 40? Does anyone have a link. I only see full version which does not fit on the Garmin nuvi 40
Nuvi Series 40 supports this map: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]Quote:

Buy a microSD card that you need and you have resolved the problem in the future. Every new map is larger
Anybody with Nuvi 40 or 50 got the junction view working with the new map and junction view on the sd card? What other files do I need to be included on the sd card?
1. Have you got the jcv file in JCV subfolder of Garmin folder? i.e. x:/Garmin/JCV/*.jcvQuote:

2. Have you left any other old jcv files from the same map series in there? Or trying to use 2 related current files together? That will cause a conflict.
3. Check that you have the correct jcv file for your particular unit. I think it is D3191040A for 40/50 but not sure.
4. This is important. Not anywhere near all junctions are shown even on major highways/freeways/expressways. Minor roads have none. Simulate a long route along a major artery and you'll soon see if it's working.
@luiguy501
If you're determined to put lower 49 only on the unit, just dl the MS version from Post #2 and use Mapsource to select the parts you want.
The setup file structure is the same as what you have described x:/Garmin/JCV/*.jcv. There is only one jcv file in that subfolder and one map file (2012.4) on the sd card. I have tried both the D3191040A.JCV and D3060050A.JCV files one at a time. I have taken the same sd card to the nuvi 1450. The same sd card can show junction view on the simulated route on nuvi 1450. When I used it on the nuvi 40 for the simulated route, it will show a blank screen when I clicked on the junction view button when it is lighted up.Quote:
