How does this compare with the map included in the North America file?

If you are referring to NT put out by Garmin, this is topographic and contains MUCH more dirt roads, parks, trails info. NT NA has pretty good coverage of main roads, ATMs, but is blank when you leave urban areas....

Hi I finished to download the GPS Atlas V70 .exe file and run. When this finish to install create a folder in to my C: unit with the name Bicimapas Inside I have two .img with the name MexicoGPSMAP12_MDR.IMG and MexicoGPSmap12.img and other two file with te extension .mdx and .tdb, and another folder with the name imgs and ther I have 66 .img files. I use gmap tool to export to mapsource like this.

    -Open the gmaptool
-Go to options, enable advanced options/select the rout to cgpsmapper.exe
-Go tab files/drag all the .img (this .img is the two for the principal folder and the 66 .img files for the secondary folder)
-Go tab Split/Select the ouput directory files/ Select Compile Preview Map/ Put a name into Mapset name/ Select Mapset FID and put this ones FID 1820 PID 30
    -Split All
-And copy the unlock mapset.exe into the output directory (the files gmaptool create)
    -Run the .bat file

But when I open the mapsource is nothing there, What I make wrong?? Helpppppp!!!!

Running the .exe you installed the map in Mapsource, no need anything else. Just unlock if it's locked with linked unlocker in post n2
