This map has many custom line types especially at tracks and paths. So, a TYP without polylines will produce an almost unsuable map.

If you want to test yourself the map with a custom TYP then you can use TYPViewer and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

@mythoss: If you want some polylines (or polygons) to be invisible you can make them transparent. As NikosSkouteris said, you can do this with TYPViewer.

Off road network like unpaved roads, trails etc are they visible? Describe me what you can and what you can't see.

With the version 3.0 and later AutoDrive add some road types (one way roads). These are custom types, in order to display the one way arrows. I think that this is a lack of the software. If the software detects an invalid type then ignores all the types that are included to the TYP file.

The same problem happens with my map, because has a lot of custom roads (and other line types) and the software ignores all lines.

You can use the "Change TYP File" program, which you can download it from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (including a TYP with no lines) to create your own .img file, or you can use the GMapTool and use the method described here (at any case use the TYP file from the zip file that I included with the "Change TYP File" program.

Note that in that case all the line types that Garmin has not a standard type to display(like European and National paths, steps and 4x4 tracks) will be displayed as black lines and all the custom line types that are not standard Garmin types will be ignored and will not been displayed by the software.

In order to understand mythoss's problem we have to read this topic here:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

This problem regards Kenwood devices, they seem to get this "infection" after playing around with custom typs in Auto drive Hellas. Device can no longer read correctly any other typ except original Garmin's typ files and that's why only City Navigator is working well. Nothing to do with custom types of roads or other elements, it's better to say nothing to do with the map, Kenwood won't even display the main road network.

At least that what i understand reading mythoss post. If i am correct then the point is to modify typ file so he can see as many road, offroad categories as possible without completely "destroying" current typ's polylines.
