Sill the same. I will try gmaptoolset

I really do not understand what I am doing wrong. I tried to install CNE on another PC with the same result !!! What I did : install CNE (no mapsource or basecamp installed) than went to the maps folder and executed unlockmapset.exe. I could see that base camp was installed by CNE. But with the same result when I tried to launch it.....And for info I just installed TOPO Spain V4 without any problem. Still searching...

    Check Basecamp installing requirements:
    Notes:
◦Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later is required.
◦.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

◦Windows Media Player 11 or greater is required (a free download from Microsoft).
◦1 GB of system memory is required, 2 GB of system memory is recommended when using BirdsEye Imagery or Garmin Custom Maps.
◦A video card that supports OpenGL version 1.3 or later is needed to enable the 3D view.
◦If you experience problems when interacting with the map views, please make sure that you have installed current video card drivers.

    Mapsource installing requirements:
    Notes:
◦WARNING: This software will not work unless you already own a MapSource product.
◦This version of MapSource no longer supports Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, or Windows 2000. MapSource now requires Windows XP with Service Pack 3 or higher.

Which is the result of Mapsettolkit registry check?

    Hints:
Try to disable your antivirus before installing Basecamp and Mapsource.
    Reinstall Net Framework
    Update Video Drivers
Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package

Thank you for your help Caty,
Mapsettoolkit gives no error. Have I to use Unlock BEFORE install of CNE ? Finally I wonder if I use the right unlocker, I tried unlockmapet.exe and also unlock mapsource V2.2 Funny that spainv4 gives no problem in a same procedure.

    How did you install CNE?
If CNE installer gives you error you can just copy the gmap folder
    Gmap folder path on pc:
    WindowsXP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps
    Vista/Seven:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Maps
No , first install CNE, or copy gmap folder, than run in the gmap folder the mapset unlocker I gave you the link above .

If Mapsource and Basecamp install. give you error there is something corrupt in your MS or BC installation , may be we could help you better if you shot a screen of this error or write it down exactly.

I finally could install this map in MapSource, but still not in Basecamp. I took a gmapprom.img and with gmaptool and unlock mapset it works. I am now looking for the prob with Basecamp.

After a new try with gmaptool I am happy to say that CNE works in Basecamp aswell. It was a bit hard for me ! But I still don't understand why I could'nt use the normal way of install.

JCV from post #50 (for 37хх) works fine on my 3790-34хх device. But it show in full screen on lanscape device orientation.
But at all promo-photos of 34хх series i see it in right-half of the screen. At Russia NT 2012.40 map JCV show on right-half part, whether there are similar files for Europe 2012.30 or we must wait for 2012.40 version?

    Hi!
I have transferred nordic maps 2012.30 via MapSource with no problems to my Nuvi 200, but I have a problem where it doesn't seem to know all the zip-codes and cities as the original 2009 map that came pre-installed.

The map is there on the device and selected and is unlocked to my device, but it's as if something is still missing.

Is this a known problem? I was the exact same with previous maps downloaded from here.

    Thanks for any help

    Hi,
can anyone tell me wether the routing function works in the unlocked CN-Version? Can vaguely remember that it didn't in older unlocked CN-Versions. And what's the relevant difference between the versions with oder without ".msi-installer"? For what purpose would I need the latter?
Sorry, it's long ago that I installed a Garmin map, hence my questions.
