    I have a weird issue.
I have on a nuvi765 the CV NA NT2012.20 and US NT 2012.20 3D. When I add a SD with EU NT 2012, the 3D NA disapears and Europe shows up.
Names are all different of course.
LE: Same with a nuvi 1390T.

I appreciate you putting up the new maps however I am confused as to which files I should actually replace on my Garmin 765t. I know I have to replace the .img file and the .jcv file but what about those other files like the .db file, asr-srx file, and the g2s files? Do I have to replace those as well?

You have to navigate to get to the good.

There is a lot of info here on jcvs and the size and features. I have a 1490T that appears to load images more slowly than my 265WT, and it seems that the large image file sizes (image of North America) load slowly. My solution is to have two versions loaded; a local "few states" version, and the entire map. The few states version is used for most driving.

This leads to a question - Do the large jcv files appear to affect performance of any of the users devices?

The higher end garmins may have faster processors, but in my looking that is not clear, but the 1490 screen redraws and loading is slow.....

An answer to the image loading might help some decide which jcv to use...
Update - After loading the 700Mb jcv file and the smallest one on the sd card with NT in main memory, I cannot detect a file load time difference....Also in another experiment with multiple versions of NT on the sd card and memory, each detects the proper jcv with several jcvs in the same directory!

I have tested all the jcv files on a 765 and 1390... Not a big difference.

Boss, i have this City Navigator North America 2011.40 on my garmin nuvi1300. Can i just delete all files of my previous City Navigator North America 2011.40 and clean install City Navigator® North America NT 2012.20. Do i need to download all of these files (unlocked) and put it on my SD card?

You can delete old files or back them up. You can also just add new files to the sd and select the correct map in the garmin or replace the existing map in main memory, assuming you have sufficient memory....Take a look at the tutorials - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Boss, i put this update on my garmin nuvi 1300. i've noticed that the maps appearing on my screen seems the same. I told this because since we came here in florida, this "florida ave West" is already connected to the main street "hollywood blvd." West melbourne Florida. but until now what is appearing on my garmin is that "florida ave" is a dead end. How come this new garmin update did not ever upgrade my map? While on my HTC sensation map, it is connected. Any ideas? In my garmin map i put check already on City Navigator® North America NT 2012.20.
