Ok I did that, and yes it does say "Pedestrian - Powered by citgyXplorer" and Transit Types are enabled for Bus, but yet they got me walking for several km at a time for any destination, and never suggest to me to take the bus or train when there are routes for those.Quote:

I guess what Im asking is confirmation that this cityXplorer release is working properly for others, so that I can start hunting down why it is doing this
you must browse the map, simulating if you'r not in the selected city, place your position in a street of that city , then in "where to" you can ask to go from that position to eg. a point of interest in that city : it will offer you public transports
Nope no go - it'll keep telling me to walk to each destination, regardless of how far it is!
to max_clif: are you outside of the area which is covered by the cityXplorer map? I live in a suburb which is not covered by the cityXplorer and when I want to go to the center of the city my 1450 tells me to walk to that underground station which is closest to my home, then to take the underground and from that point everything is as one expects.
I've EU CX but it's the same, step by step cityXplorer test in simulation mode ;)

I feel really badly you went through so much work on my behalf, only for me to find out that I screwed up.
Im using a slightly outdated map of north america, thus transit routes were disabled. I've only now put on the newest NA map and now it works :/
Sorry...........
np , nice you got it-
It will be useful for other users
Tried both files. Enhanced Ped mode on my TWN 2465 (equivalent to US2360) can be activated only with the file for 37xx (FID800). In pedestrian mode, it would display, "Powered by CityXplorer" automatically. There are no options to enable public transports and none are shown in the calculated route. It is still on its first and latest version of firmware. This might be a firmware issue that will get corrected with updated versions. The enhanced pedestrian mode works flawlessly on my 1370(TWN) with the file in the great first post by Vanish90. The public transports are also enabled automatically.Quote:

P.S. For the 1370(TWN), a single unlock code with PID 2, RgnID 0, VenID 0, enables the Enhanced Pedestrian features for all cities.
I noticed that bus routes are never used for any of the cities, while walking (of course), and train, and light rail is used instead of buses.
Maybe garmin should remove all references to bus routes.
