My .jcv file works ok in my 765T. Try installing your original or backed up version.

The next one won't be released until some time in August.

I hope someone can help me, I'm having trouble with these maps. I own a Nuvi 3790 preloaded with EU maps. I have the unlocked gmapsupp.img, gmap3d.img and gmaptz from post #60 on my SD card (8 GB SDHC) in the Garmin folder.

When I try any POI search it returns "No Matches Found", when I plan a trip to test the maps (GPS Simulator ON), it stalls at "Calculating 48%" then returns a "Cannot Calculate The Route" message.

I have selected "CN North America 2012.10 ALL" and deselected the other maps in the map select screen.

I cannot seem to get past these problems and hope someone can point me in the right direction to overcome them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

This classic method work for North America Maps with MapSource 6.16.3
Garmin CityNavigator North America NT 2012.10 - MapSource
    MapID: 2425

Original mapsource install version North America here:
    part1 - 700Mb
    part2 - 700Mb
    part3 - 35Mb

    1. install Mapsource _6163
    2. apply Mapsource _6163_patch.rar

    3. install maps - Run "CNNANT2012_10Update.msi"(Garmin CityNavigator North America NT 2012.10 - MapSource), click reg key (installfix)
    4. generate UNIT ID code (IMEI TO UNIT ID converter)
    5. apply UNIT ID code and FID (ID map), generate unlock code (JetMouse)
    6. run Mapsource (PC - start - programs - Mapsource) and apply unlock code
    7. generate maps
    8. total unlock - apply Garmin unlocker alternanive v6.02 or v6.03

Neither the keygen nor the patched Mapsource are necessary. There is a method to set up Mapinstall so it can transfer maps to any drive, not just the GPS, but I'm not sure if it works with the current version of Mapinstall.

    1. Copy [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] into the directory where the map is located on the hard drive and run it.
    2. Run Mapinstall and create the .img file.
    3. Run [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and select the .img file.
    4. Transfer the maps to the GPS.

I've tried this method and the method detailed in the post prior and had absolutely no luck getting the search function to work. Can ANYONE shed any light on this mystery at all?

I am traveling to the US in a few weeks and don't want this problem to hamper my travel. I have a 3790. Any further assistance would be great.

    Thanks

Put your position on a location on map and simulate a route, you'll have search, you must fix in America to have adress search.
