Question regarding the installer, is it possible to install only the map of a certain country? The generated mapsource is a little too big and zooming in and out to see the details is a little cumbersome.

use the gmapsupp file and GMapTool
then you can create a mapsource version of your certain country

JCV(D2855020A) & CN Middle East & N Africa NT 2012.10 3D map added in post 1

catymag, I have existing GMAP3D.IMG on my .system folder, do I have to overwrite that one?

yes overwrite the old one and remove any gmap3d.unl ,if you have one

ok thanks, in my .system\jcv folder I have also D2855010A.JCV, file do I have to remove this one also or I just keep it & putting JCV(D2855020A)?

Yes replace it with the new one.

Is there a mapsource version of the 2010.10 map?

I finally managed to download the MAPID2385 zip file and copied it to C:\Garmin. But on opening the batch file I got this error message: 'cgpsmapper' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
File missing: mapset.img, aborting install.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
