    Can anyone tell me if JCV file here linked is the correct file for a nuvi 3490?

    @clovis2

    If you also see nüvi 37xx & nüvi 34xx files like ASR, G2S & SQLite in the "package" you might assume that the JCV file is for that nüvi range.

    34xx not released yet in AUS so no SID and no AUS specific ASR files so some voice command limits exist at present. You get message 'Not available with ..." on some voice commands.

    This map (including JCV) will work on 37xx->34xx but you will need to download ASR files again with webupdater as 34xx uses different ASR files.

    Overall 34xx conversion still worth doing as nav features are better than 37xx.
