For example last version of Freizeitkarte Belgium:
    - gmap version has typ file: 6056.TYP
    - gmapsupp.img version has typ file: 00006056 TYP
    - Windows-installer: standard installation with 6056.TYP, but also with typ-files: small, outdoorl, outdoorc, outdoor, freizeit and contrast. See also:

When you want to change the typ-file You have the install version with al the different TYP-files or you download the different TYP-files from the Freizeitkarte-site. When you download the ReplaceTYP.zip from Freizeitkarte (in your language) you also get the different TYP-files and installation files. And can change the TYP-file with the tools in the zipfile. Use ReplaceTYP.cmd (it use Gmaptool=gmt.exe !). But you also can use the methods Mapperoni mentioned when you have the single TYP-files.

Both maps are routable. They seem to contain very similar information, but I find the mapping of the Freizeitkarte clearer than that of the Openfietsmap.

They are free, so I hope that posting links here is OK.
    Hi
It seeems that Topolusitania team is mapping for the openstreetmap project. That could explain why for the time being no new Topolusitania version is available.

In Topolusitania blog there is a warning for some big errors that the Contour Lines from SRTM have in Madeira Island, creating summits higher than Pico do Areeiro
