Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2011.40 Mapsource

Hello, I have an old GPSMAP 276C. Do you know if this software will run on my device?.

Hi everyone and Catymag.
I know the unit itself had a limitation on usage of SDHC cards and or maps in excess of 2 GB, but the lastest firmware from Garmin adressed this.
Currently I have CNE 2010 installed but had to use converter to revert to the old mapstructure.
What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It seems to be a smaller map, probably less than 2 gb or probably your unit has a map tiles limitation.

Hi ya all!
Mi first post. Happy found this forum/community. SO much info and knowledgement!! :) Not so easy to sort all out though but I keep trying.
Now to my q: Ive downloaded the 11 MAP-parts from Page1. They all are in RAR and thats ok. BUT when trying to unRAR them starting with part1 my problem begins.
The process stops after part1 asking for part2 .. How do i do from here to unRAR?

Copy all the parts in one folder, unrar part 1, it should unrar all the parts in just one file.
Use Winrar or 7zip

I found out: I must hit the button "Browse" and THEN mark the next RAR file asked for NOT hit "OK" button as I did cause it highmarked the next rar file..
I must be real tired.. SORRY.
Now I "only" have to find out how to get this unrared CityNavigator Europe2011.4 to work with the patched Mapsource 6.16.3 as I already installed on my pc.. Hmm..

Thanks Catymag. Didnt se your answer before my 2nd post. I tried just as you write.. as I alway do when unrar files. but ended up with errors.. But as you see in my prev post I found a way.. One always learn something new.. (I use WinRAR)

to unlock use the unlocker posted in post one,gmap folder is located
(in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps) or
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps)
copy it in the folder and run it

You mean this: "unlock gmap 1.1.exe (140 KB)" ?
First Ive installed the Mapsource 6.16.3 and patched it and now I should run the "CNEUNT2011_40Update.msi" in my resently unRARed map? Is that correct? And AFTER that I do as you write put the Unlocker in correct map and hit it?

Ok I tried all that. Copied the unlocker to the C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps folder and hit it..nothing! Moved it deeper to next subfolder C:\ProgramData\Garmin\MapsCity Navigator Europe NT 2011.40.gmap.. and hit it.. now the program started and kept running..and running.. the black window full with text/data scrolling forever.. so I closed it and opened Mapsource to see if the maps where unlocked and installed.. NOPE!
So Im stucked .. :(
