Thanks for the info rep added. When I use the unlocker (which works fine) I end up with a a map named GmapTool All when i put it into the Nuvi is there a way to retain the correct map name I have tried renaming the .img no luck

you can change the name in header with GMapTool
Write tag/Mapset/write selected

I was helping a friend with their maps today and loaded the locked map found in post #37. I loaded it up on the SD card and didn't create a UNL file just to see what would happen. Well, it appears to work just fine without the UNL. Just for my education is the JM unlock on this IMG necessary? Any other s here have the same experience?

Hi Catymag, what is the ASR file????, what 's the utility or what 's update in the gps, i have a nuvi 765T, thank you for your help.....

Hay Texas Star, i understand whas 's the asr file, but in the nuvi 765T is work???????, or only the gps that has voice command like the 855????, thank you for your help.....
The 8xx series and other models like the 23xx and 37xx have voice command/speech recognition.Quote:

Unfortunately not with your 765T.
