You can try to downgrade your firmware to find the sg/my firmware version that will display it.
(Usually.....JCV for sg/my firmware = Sg/my , US., Australia ., Newzealand., EU., Taiwan., not Thai )
Normally dual map is Thai+Eng language.Quote:

It shows Eng language for map displaying (on View Map page) when you set language to ENG.
For Map name :: It shows in ENG for my unit too. (when I set to Thai language)
Which is your unit?
Maybe it from the header of your text file ???
Example for header of .glx (Text file) for 37xx
Code:<catalog codepage="utf-8" direction="0" display_name="Dansk"
file_version="2.05" language="da_DK" pnumber="006-D2077-00">
My unit is a Nuvi 200 , bought in Denmark .. The funny thing is that it displays only correct with english language settings ..Quote:

The only thing that I have altered in language files is in the Thailand.gtt(or any files for that matter) where I put a new string for the keyboard layout so that I am able to use thai language keyboard ....
//Edited// Added ::: I played a little more around with language settings, and it seems that in English and Thai language settings it shows the map with engllish place names ... Any other language it switsches to show placenames in thai alphabet...
Are both "Thailand Streetmap Eng NT+THAI V11.00+JCV+ DEM+ Thailand 3D Building " and "Thailand Street Map v11 DUO Version (TH&EN) + DEM + Thailand 3D Building + JCV, Original" the same?
By the way, I am using Garmin nuvi 255w US version, with S4 board HWID 1091.
This one is unlocked, the original one is locked
The Thailand maps will only display in (English American) or Thai road names NO other LanguageQuote:

TSM11 have 3 mapsets data.
1). Eng Version
2). Thai version
and this version have 2 FID
2.1 :: Nuvi from ESRI
2.2 :: GarminAsus M10 from AsusThai
3). Dual version (Thai+Eng)
Thai & Eng version have the same map data except language.
Dual map is better for you can select your language and some word is easy to search in ENG.
We have 3 JCV versions
1). JCV for ENG map (Low resolution)
2). JCV for Thai map (Low resolution)
3). JCV for Dual map (High resolution )
All of 3 jcv versions have the same junction data except different in resolution.
For all of 2x5 US firmware ., I'm sorry to say you won't see Thai jcv.
YES I am fully aware of that .... And as I wrote , when language is set to english it displayes English road/city names on the map .... and when the language is set to thai it still shows the road/city names in english .... But when I change to any other than these two languages, it shows road/city names in Thai writing.Quote:

I would have some degree of understanding IF it showed correct map language when unit is set to display thai language ....but I does not, at least not in my unit
