Rotweiler's All Thailand Routable Version 5.11

*** For Garmin GPS Devices ***

The mapset contains all of the Kingdom of Thailand and has full search ("Find") functions for all Cities, Points of Interest and roads both in MapSource on your computer and on your GPSr. The Version 5 builds of the All Thailand mapset includes numerous updates and improvements, especially in Northern Thailand.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Thailand Version 5.11 is compatible with all versions of MapSource, including 6.13 and Version 6.15 (and later versions). .

Version 5.11 has recompiled street names for a better search in MapSource and on your GPSr.

Note: The Thailand installer provides two installation options:

    - Original Roads and
    - No Customization

"Original Roads" is recommended for all StreetPilots and Nuvis.

"No Customization" is recommended for Garmin Que, iQue or Nroute.

I've successfully (as far as the installer is concerned) the maps using the first file in this post, however, MapSource doesn't show the Thailand map in my choices. My other maps are there, but this one isn't working for some reason. Should I be using the unlocked version provided by vincent856?

    Thanks,

    Vince

No problems in MS 6.16.3 ,Thailand is in the list and working
check with mapsetoolkit (check registry) if it's installed correctly-
If you had a previous version uninstall it before installing the new one-
Gmapsupp.img is just to copy in gps

Update - I got GMAPTOOL and used it with Mapsettoolkit to adjust the FID, but now I have a Locked map in MapSource. Is there a way to ***** it? I presume that it was unlocked before.

I see what happened. I did what you suggested (check registry) and it appears that the Thailand map is conflicting with my already-installed IndoChina map (does not include Thailand). The family ID's are the same. Is there a way to change the family id of the Thailand map in mapsettoolkit? I'm goofing around with it, but it is a new program to me, and I'm just getting all sorts of errors.

    Thanks,

    Vince
