Are the Navsat maps compatible with a Garmin Colorado 400c handheld GPS? How about the POI files? There isn't a POI folder as shown in some of the posts...

    Many thanks!

Just got back from Costa Rica. This map worked like a charm. Has the new highway on it and the road details are far beyond my expectation. It showed the most primitive of roads in the very rural areas. Routing and searching worked just fine. I installed the POI/speed cam file and it covers alot including school zones, speed zones, toll roads, and hazard areas. A true life saver, as the directions the rental car place gave to get to the highway were quite wrong. My Nuvi got me there no problem! Great download! Thanks !

    hi keith13b,
I don't see the new highway on the latest map. it is not different from 5.09 version. Doesn't it go from San Jose to Caldera on the pacific coast?

So which one is better for Costa Rica, Garmin's South American map, or this NavSat map?

NavSat is better. Very nice map.
I recomend the use of OSM, in addition. Some trails and streets are better mapped in OSM.
