I can successfully export the gmapsupp.img file from Map Source in Windows, and I am able to view this map on the GPSMap 62s device. But when connect the device to Mac, Base Camp does not show the map.
Any advice?
go here and change MS flag to 0
Code:http://www.gmaptool.eu/en/content/map-visible-basecamp
There is no 'Set version in header' setting at the 'Write' tab (as described in the linked webpage) on my GMapTool. What's happen?Quote:

Downloaded the file with no problem. Put the folder in C:/Garmin, run install.bat but the map did not show in B.C.
No message regarding map locking. I say this because I run B.C. a non-patched version 4.4.6.
Can somebody give me an explanation?
Basecamp can read locked maps. What do you mean with: "the map did not show in B.C" , is this map not in maps list in BC once installed ?
Edit: tested in my 7 64x, install.bat doesn't work. I installed it with Mapsetoolkit.

yes, the map is not among the map list once the install-bat is run.
I wl try with MapsetToolkit. Thanks for suggestion, Caty.
