Navigation map for Konstanz Lake -Germany 19.09.2009
The Bodensee Navigation Map is a free vector map for use in GPS receivers. You can for example be involved in Garmin Mapsource. From there, they can be easily loaded into the memory of a Garmin GPS device (exception: Garmin Sounders series).
The POIs were recorded using commercially available, portable GPS devices, mostly with EGNOS correction.
The 10m-deep lines were free and for non-commercial use by the State Survey Feldkirch (Vorarlberg, Austria) provided and come from a test series in 1990.
The shoreline and the port facilities are created mostly from geocoded aerial photographs. This has given us the GeoContent GmbH for the German bank and the LVA Feldkirch for the Austrian bank with 1m ground resolution.

The name under which Lake Konstanz is known better in Austria and Germany is Bodensee
As far as I can remember the map has FID 800 and there are several other maps with FID 800. So if you install this map to mapsource and you cannot see it please check if there is a conflict with some other map. I had this problem!

And I think
" Lake Constance " is the right spelling in english for " Bodensee ".
Navigation map for Lake Constance(Bodensee) of 5/8/2010
Many new POIs in the Upper and Lower hinzugefügt .
This map does not replace the official navigation chart of Lake Constance in the current version and is only an aid to orientation
Is this Map routable??
