So I thank the C320 unit to which South Africa map is available only if the Forum there?? I now do not know which of the South African version of the map can be used on my pointing device, please, thank you very much!

if you need a street map use this one

unlocked IMG
if you dont have other maps rename it gmapsupp.img or gmapprom.img and copy in your Garmin directory
of it's the second map gmapsup2.img if you put it in an sd gmapsupp.img in a garmin folder

Download worked great - thanks a million for making the maps available.

Unfortunately have a problem now - Cannot install e.g. the new Westafrica into Mapsource. Setup does insist for internet connection, guides me through a Garmap questionaire and asks for 20digit Garmap code.
Would be very grateful for any support on how to get maps installed - unlocking with Jetmouse KG would not be the problem.

hi there,

do not open the .exe file by clickin it. right click dan extract the files using winrar to desktop. you will then see many folders. go into the maps one and install from there.

For Egypt and Sudan, i'd recommend the Tracks4Africa-map (v 8.10, good quality outside cities, limited city details), from the Garmin maps index:

And for Egypt, there are some more maps in the map index (Middle East & Africa index).

Other sources for maps:

- Open Street Maps (OSM), e.g. at
...p://garmin.na1400.info/routable.php
Usually good quality in big cities; bad quality outside these cities.

- Garmin mapcenter:
...p://mapcenter2.cgpsmapper.com
Sometimes good, but often only playground.

I do not know any other maps or map-sources for these countries. There are also no official Garmin maps or other commercial maps available. Same for Libya and Algeria: only maps from OSM or mapcenter available.
