It definitely can't route outside covered area :)
You need other map to do that. If both maps don't have the same border points you can get weird routes.

Certainly an error in v5.00 (all types). Border crossings are unconnected - except in North West Bulgaria. Therefore to get to Greece from Plovdiv you must 'drive' west to Sofia, north through Montana and Vidin then west into the former yugoslavia and South through Serbia etc etc, crossing back into Greece to the North West of Thessaloniki. 500 km route must be driven through 1,580 km. Perhaps the author works for OMV or Lukoil. Can somebody please make adjustments to show ALL border crossings including 'new' crossings south of G.Delchev and Kardjali; and permit the map to work seamlessly with the installed (or updated) Garmin maps. Ver 4.9 (all types) work correctly.

Yes, major error. version 4.9 (all types) works correctly so have gone back to that.
