Let me explain...
Using the wgmaptool I created just a file with these maps (all unlocked): CN 2010.30, Autoguia V 2.17, Tracksource TRC + TRU-SP.
I want to erase the CN 2010.20 of the internal memory of the nuvi and put this file .img created from wgmaptool in the card.
So... do I have to erase the .unl file from unit and send this same file to the card?
Because all the files are unlocked, do I have to have this .unl file.

If all maps are unlocked - no need for new .unl file
You can remove old .unl file

No meu Garmin Nuvi 255 W wu fiz o seguinte:
Passei o mapa dos EUA original do Nuvi para o Computador, que é o mapa gmapprom.img.
Ai renomeia o .imp (city Brasil) que baixou para gmapprom.img e copia no aparelho sobre o mapa dos EUA e ai envio os mapa do Tracksource.
No caso do meu Nuvi posso escolher qual usar (normalmente tenho o City, TRU e TRR) mas somente uso 1 deles.

In my Garmin Nuvi 255 W i did the following:
I spent the map of the USA original Nuvi to the computer, which is the map gmapprom.img.
Then rename the. img (City Brazil), which fell to gmapprom.img and copy the player on the U.S. map and then send the map TrackSource.In the case of my Nuvi can choose which one to use (typically have the City, and TRR TRU) but only use 1 of them.
