You needs Port Splitter V1.20 and this script (Copy&Paste then put it in Garmin.MSCR!!) to let the Port Splitter starting up at the same time when the prog starting than everythings is Ok :
Code:
GARMIN.MSCR
Errorlevel("warn")
If(WndExists("Garmin Mobile XT"))
Show("Garmin Mobile XT")
Exit
EndIf
#Run Port Splitter if not exists
If(not ProcExists("Port Splitter.exe"))
Run("\Storage Card\Garmin\RunGMXT\Port Splitter.exe")
Sleep(500)
EndIf
#Copy previous stored settings to \Garmin
XCopy("Storage Card\Garmin\RunGMXT\Settings\*.*","\Garmin", TRUE)
#Run Garmin Mobile XT.
#This script will not go to the next command before que.exe completely shut down
RunWait("\Storage Card\Garmin\Apps\WM\que.exe")
#Save new settings back to SD Card
XCopy("\Garmin\*.*","\Storage Card\Garmin\RunGMXT\Settings", TRUE)
#Stop Port Splitter before killing it
#If the port splitting are not stopped before killing the process,
#it will not work again even you run Port Splitter again without soft reset
If(WndExists("Port Splitter V1.20"))
#Stop button
SendCommand("Port Splitter V1.20", 1010)
Sleep(500)
#Exit button
SendCommand("Port Splitter V1.20", 2)

sorry I gave you a wrong link, this CAb is for installing portsplitter directly from your phone
you'll find the needed dll to run posrt splitter in win CE here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
under Windows CE some libraries are missing in device.
Most of the available Windows CE- devices are Pocket PC’s and therefore most of the available Windows CE software is written for Pocket PC’s.
Because of the GUI differences there exist also differences in the available system- DLL’s.
They are aygshell.dll, coredll.dll and commctrl.dll. If some of these files are missing in your system, you will got an error message

Just in case anyone has some ideas, on how to convert a US Zumo550 to support Japanese v10 map.
I hope some of the gurus here can offer some ideas/advice.
I have a US Zumo 550, and having just moved to Japan I am trying to make it work with a Japanese Garmin map.
I can load the Jap Map OK, but obviously it just displays as gibberish since the US Zumo can "read" Japanese double byte characters.
I have a "dump" of a friend's Japanese Zumo 550, so I have all the files that come on that version. My assumption was that at the hardware level, the Zumo, like a PC, can support either type of system, as long as it's running the correct firmware.
To test this assumption I've copied over the main (from the Japanese unit) files found in the Garmin folder on the Zumo. With these files in place my logic was to run the Japanese version of the GUPDATE.GCD file (which simply involves copying it to the Zumo, into the Garmin folder). Thus once the unit is restarted the GUPDATE.GCD file should upgrade/change the OS on my US Zumo to Japanese. Btw, this is how the Japanese Zumos get updated, i.e. the user downloads the new firmware file and restarts the unit; the nice Web Update program we can use on the US units is not supported/developed for the Japanese version.
Despite the logic above sounding OK, I'm having difficulties with the execution part, I can see the Loader running, but after a little while the Zumo simply shuts off. I can't figure out what I might be missing to make this process work. (again, I have already copied the Japanese gmapbmap.img, gmappromimg, GarminDevice.xml (updated this file with my ID#), the corresponding .sum files, and everything else to my ex-US Zumo...
I've tried doing a hard reset and pulling the battery, but still get the same result of it not finishing running the Loader.
Would really appreciate any helpful advice.

I've been trying to unlock a mapset using method 3.b mentioned in the guide on this forum. Upon installing the map, mapsource 6.15.11 got installed as well. I ran Map Reverse Converter and successfully reverted my map. I then uninstalled old mapsource + map and installed 6.13.7, to attempt see my converted map, but when I open the old mapsource I keep getting "There is a problem with the MapSource installation. Please re-install MapSource and start it again."
Am I doing something wrong?

which map?
use mapsetoolkit to uninstall the problematic map-
New maps need new mapsource versions, and to unlock them you need to patch it with jetmouse or [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
