Please help with following problem with trekking maps for Nepal: lukla-everest and annapurna-region, available on this forum.
All map details (names of streets, villages, cities, mountains etc.) are lost after transfer of trekking maps for Nepal from mapsource to mobile xt on E72. On mapsource everything is fine and all names are present.
System:
Nokia E72
Mapsource V.6.15.7
Garmine mobile XT 5.00.60
All other maps work fine, but then again they are full maps, not just isolated regions.
Please help!
have you tried to simply transfer the unlocked IMG in your garmin folder?Quote:

connect the phone in transfer mode and put it in garmin folder, if you have another map inside rename it gmapsup1.img or gmapsup2.img etc or join them with gmaptool
Thanks! Good point. All info is still missing. Any ideas?
stupid question :is the map unlocked in mapsource?
Yes, it is. In mapsource I can view the map in full detail.
Update:
Solved! Correct basemap was needed. After combining correct basemap with detailed trekking maps in mapsource and sending combined map to phone, all details are showing up in garmine xt.
