No point in downgrading the main firmware in that case. It's most likely the problem is due to BT software but as you say that's not the solution, at least definitively.
I'd present your anecdotal results to Garmin and this time insist they investigate it .... but don't hold your breath.

I observed reboots again during two new trips. They lasted 1.5 hours and 1 hour. But this time the reason was “Stack Overflow on PRE main” and “Data abort on TrfNtfctnPrvdr.”
In the second case, I think it's more likely to be an unexpected interruption in the data stream of the DAB+ traffic information. That can happen sometimes. But it shouldn't lead to a reboot!
But the first one has occurred repeatedly in the past, and the cause is usually a bug.
The multitude of different reasons lately is striking, to say the least. I have now decided to look for a different model or even a different manufacturer. I'm also searching the forum for posts where people have switched from Garmin to TomTom.
