Default How to insert a GEO PDF as a permanent part of map? Help please

    Hello
I have a Garmin 680t I use for snowmobiling. I want to be able to inset a GEOPDF from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Continental Divide GeoPDF 2017) so that anytime I look at my GPS, whether or not I am following an old track or not, the map is a permanent part of my GPS screen. We do lots of off trail exploring and if I could get this GEOPDF as part of my map when following old routes or just exploring it would make me much more comfortable in going into new areas and linking them together. I dont want to be able to erase it or anything like that so I can always see how far we are from the main trail system

How do I go about doing something like this? I use BaseCamp and Google Earth to add new points and edit my tracks currently but cant figure this one out.

    Thanks

The 680t has BirdsEye / jnx file format functionality. The geopdfs can be converted to jnx files and the firmware can be patched to enable reading of your own that you copy over. I was able to open one of your Wyoming examples in Global Mapper just fine. All the details you need are here, enjoy:
