Garman Drive 60LM - issue with address search

Bought a new Drive 60LM which came with 5.1 firmware. Loaded latest 5.7, then went back to 5.2 (don't ask why). After that when I do a search for an address, it asks for a house number, then a street name but it never asks for a city. This results in listing all of the available streets in the country with the name I put in. I then need to pick out the one I am looking for from the list. I upgraded back to 5.7, however still have the same issue.

Is there an option in the settings that will allow the address search to ask for street, street number AND city?

You don't have a setting issue, what you've described is likely a minor operating fault by the device or possibly a corruption in the map used. Best practice is to always hard reset a device after a firmware change, particularly if it's been downgraded. In fact the immediate 'first aid' for any weird action by a device is to hard reset or better still clear nonvol. Be aware that resetting it or clearing nonvol will wipe out your favorites so if you want to restore them later back them up first. If reset/clear nonvol doesn't fix it look at the map situation. Check the basemap is present and check that it and the detail map shows no errors in GMapTool:

Maybe change Locale in developer menu?

I found following article on Garmin website, which allowed me to specify city name.

I am wondering why it changed as I didn't have to do this extra step before, where device asked for street, number and city automatically

Do you initially choose a Locale after restart? Each locales (for each countries) have a lot of differences with other.

No, I didnt choose or change anything related to locale. Do you have instructions on how to check current settings?

When you restart after a hard reset/clear nonvol the device will ask you to choose a locale. It should default to the device's OEM localization firstly.
