Alpha 100 ..cant unlock maps...screen

hi
have an issue with my handheld while booting before it goes onto main menu.. cant unlock maps... screen comes up ,,,I have to hit ok to continue to main menu..anyone know how to remove this?

"Can't Unlock Maps" message on start-up means one of your detail maps have failed the authentication check, i.e. It's not been legitimately purchased (for the device or microSD card). Have you added anpther map recently?

no Butters,,,its so annoying this screen...I tried reset and also wiped it back to factory settings...and it still shows up...help!!!!!

simply remove the map and place someone unlocked

Not every map can be unlocked for the Alpha 100 (eg Unicode), because its firmware contains a weak MSV.

where do the maps be stored on the Alpha and I just delete the one that's causing problem..would that work..?

the map stored in garmin folder (etc: gmapsupp.img ,gmapprom.img) make a copy of the img files and after delete one by one and check when the message will disappear
