Default TomTom third edition street name readout

Is it possible to install a voice on this device that gives street name readouts? I heard this was reserved for "computer" voices. I have seen the Dave/etc... .cab files on the internet, but no corresponding voices files. Can someone point me in the right direction if this is possible?

It's not possible, only devices with the option of using TTS and enough memory to store these extra's

I have been using TTS voices on my TomTom One 3rd Edition for many a year.
You just need a suitable map and Navcore. (Check out Orni's compatibility chart).
The most popular Navcore achieve this is the 9.510.
If you want to use LoquendoTTS you need to use the version specially created for 32 MB devices.
VocalizerTTS doesn't need the memory boost that the above version does but many find the bad pronunciations annoying (I find them hilarious).

I'm sure pe1agp has copies of everything you need if you are unable to find them.

It has a loquendo folder in it and it does see "computer voices" when I put stuff in there. I just haven't been able to get it to speak.

I already set up the internal files to be compatible with modern maps so that should be done. I just need the files for the voices.

You might be missing the LoquendoTTS base files.
They are not supplied with the voice packs.
They should have been supplied with the Navcore.

    pe1agp

    TTS is a Navcore feature.
    Your spreadsheet contains official data.
The official Navcore for TomTom 3rd Eitions is 8.010.
Navcore 8.010 does not support TTS.
