TMC by Frontzosd for Real Radio WindowsCe (traffic facts from radio frequencies)

For his idea!!!
and After many tests from him and his knowledge to electronics , antennas etc
I manage to made this zip!

This untility zip is for Next Gen ,windows CE but and Android!

Also:

We have new utility zip FOR PRIMO WIN Ce os!
Its the: "tmc_fix_frequency_by_Fd.zip"!

I open this thread for to explain a special feature, which already exists to tmc zip ,to Frontzosd skin for Avic (full and slim edition!)
We can use it for Android and Win CE.

But the secret is in windows CE.

So if we have a Window CE pna , console etc
And the machine have Radio Traffic Message
(We mean real Radio with support RDS
And TMC..with FM antenna etc)
We can use very well this TMC zip!!

And I explain:
With this zip.
We can:

1)Stop, the Automatic Scanning, for Radio stations , for traffic facts
from our windows CE console..
EACH TIME we open it!!
(Which causes wasting a lot of time)
This is very important part!

2)we can give manually the radio frequency
For a station we know.

3)we can save this frequency in one
Of four positions radio buttons!

4)we can press the button, with the frequency (Station) we want for
Traffic facts..
(We have already save it before , of course!)
For to use it!

First of all, if we choose from menu automatic RDS...
And we have Radio facts , immediately
In the sidelist a button with frequency
Appeared!
If we dont have , nothing happened!!
But
If we choose enable we always
Have this menu for to check the features
But with no operation of course.
We can give only manually the frequencies to our radio buttons!

To the sidelist!

If we press the frequency window to the sidelist a window open , which inform
Us for our current radio frequency
And the name of the station!

If we long press the same button we
Change from Enable to
Auto , our RDS !

If we simple press our TMC button
To the sidelist a window open
With 4 button radio position.
We choose one , and a keyboard appeared
We write the frequency and we return
Back
We press again position 1
And after that we SET Our first frequency
For Position 1 for example.
We can do the same for the other three buttons!

Photo 1 of my TMC FM antenna amplifier.
Photo 2-3-4 of my home made projetc of TMC hardware for WinCE 6.0.

My TMC hardware use a virtual COM port added in WinCE SO,and with my adapted drivers for emulate COM port with USB 2.0 line bus.

Infos:
After many days\months of development (code for Nextegen by Frontzosd friend and my tests on 2 din multimedia radio with WinCe 6.0 SO) came out this great TMC plugin, which I use it for several months, and it works perfectly.

I also had to invent a small but powerful FM\RDS signal amplifier hardware for my original FM Diversity antenna (BMW) and then I can share the FM\RDS signal from the OEM antenna with my FM antenna amplifier,and then send it to my TMC hardware to extrapolate from the FM\RDS information those relating to the TMC.
The Frontzosd plugin via Nextgen (NG version for WinCE) interfaces to my hardware and does all the rest...
and I receive TMC information OFF LINE via FM\RDS!

TMC off line uses the FM\RDS system.
In many European Countries there are FM stations that radiate the TMC free service.
For example, for Italy there are 3 national FM radio stations that radiate TMC free, but they have a bad RDS\TMC signal reception, so it is difficult to pick up.
I therefore use an Italian FM\RDS\TMC radio station which offers TMC information, but for a fee.

I have license for NextGen for this station, so with my hardware I have a very strong FM\RDS\TMC signal and very good infos.

I think that in Spain there is also TMC, but I do not know whether free or paid.

To better understand how TMC works "OFF LINE" and "ON LINE" read this old thread,it's a simple and quick summary,a long time ago we discussed this topic here on the forum...

Btw, I've never seen tmc license for Spain. Or the signal is free, or there is no service (more possible).

By unpack "global_cfg.zip" list of TMC providers:

Naturally, for the paid TMC providers, you must have the appropriate license files and .tmc files in the "TMC" folder of Nextgen and your Country.
Also still have adequate files for the TMC Off line (dll ecc...) in NextGen main forlder, dll appropriate for the protocol used by your TMC hardware receiver.
And again ... in "sys.txt" appropriate strings written under the entry [tmc], also these are depending on the hardware receiver TMC and protocol used, COM, Baud Rate ecc...

EVERYTHING to make TMC Off Line work, then plugin by Frontzosd, my hardware design, USB to COM drivers writing for WinCe 6.0 and more.... it was a hard work of months, as well as much code to write by Frontzosd, many tests performed live by me to correct errors, but in the end we succeeded!

I am very happy with this result, and I think even Frontzosd, without its plugin could never work the TMC off line with NG WinCE, which unlike Igo Primo, NG WinCE or NG Android did not have native support for TMC Off line, but ONLY TMC On line.

That list it does not have to be completely accurate, on the contrary, I would just say it is copy-pasted. Facts:
In Austria there are 3 free providers
For Slovenia is not in function at least 2 years, maybe more.

Well, I found this, yes copy-paste of zip file write...had the most updated list a long time ago but I did not find it in my various PCs.
It would be useful if you have a current and updated list of TMC providers to write it here.
