Nuvi 265W - Reboot loop

Hi,

I have a Garmin Nuvi 265W - it had been working fine up to now.

It's in a reboot loop - Garmin screen loads, gets as far as 'Loading maps' and then reboots.

Have left in charging to mains overnight, connected to pc with USB cable.

Ideally I'd like to fix the problem but if I could get my maps/favourites etc from the device and then wipe it would be great too.

Can anyone help?

I have exactly the same problem few days ago. I my case the problem was solved after resetting user data which you can perform following this procedure:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Thanks for the quick response - is there a way of fixing it without wiping the user data?
