Need help with finding the right unl file for my gmaapsupp.img file
I have a gmapsupp.img file which I created by combining City Navigagtor NT 2010 and Topo West 24K. The City Navigator is unlocked version. I tried loading the img file on a 16 gb micro sd card and inserted it into my Garmin 60 CSX unit. I then used Garmin Unlock Generator v1.5 to create a unlock code for the img file. My GPS id is 3820171259 and my custom mapset FID is 450. I copied the 25 digit code on a notepad and saved it as gmapsupp.unl file. However when I start the gps unit, I dont see anything other than the base map. Is there anything I am doing wrong. Please help. I can upload my img file but it is around 3.5 GB. So please give me suggestions on how to resolve this.

I quote from this thread:[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Easier than repeating everytime
Your 60CSx can use a card up to 32GB SDHC no problem, provided the actual img file is kept below 4GiB in size [and you don't exceed the maximum number of map FIDs and map tiles (segments), virtually impossible as your 60 can handle up to 2,025 tiles]. The easiest answer is to just use multiple SD cards for individual BCs or Topo/CNs and swap them out as needed. That way you don't need to worry about using either MS or MI to load them, simply copy and paste the unlocked img file as gmapsupp.img to a Garmin folder in the root of the card [sd\Garmin\gmapsupp.img]. Garmin supplies all individual map and chart img files under 4GiB.
Check with Javawa device manager if you haven't exceeded the tiles limit
You can unlock easily maps with this tool [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and you won't need the .unl anymore.
You can update your City Navigator too, look at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
If you add the .unl to an unlocked .img your gps won't see it, remove any .unl if you use an already unlocked .img.
