HWID the same means same firmware is used,. When did you lose the VC icon? What did you change just before that, was it only the firmware update to V8.30?

That's not how the Voice Command function works. That and all similar functions are in the firmware, even though some are shown as icons in 'Apps' screen they are not really separate apps that are loaded individually. You should look at the device's 140.bin to check that ASR is enabled in it. Dump region 140 from your 3590 and use Mod_2xxx.exe to check. Read this thread and see the screenshots in initial post there: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Yes that makes sense, because there are no ASR files supplied by Garmin for MENA maps. So it seems you've never had VC available in that device then. Just dump region 16 and check 'ASR' in it as I said above.

    2-how can i dump region 16
do y mean use Mod_2xxx.exe and just check ASR
sorry again as i m just double checking
any chance to find the file Mod_2xxx.exe
    Thanks

    just checkd .system/diag/html/supportedfeatures

The Mod_2xxx.rar file is attached on the forum's server, look just below the 'spoiler' with the expired zippyshare link in post no. 1 there. For explanation of dumping (copying) a region with rrgn command, see this thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Seeing you've said you're not expert, let's take it a step at a time. So first extract the file behind the spoiler below to a clean microSD, ensure the 3590 is fully OFF, insert the card and turn it back on, but first connect to a power source if the battery is low. Let it finish without interruption and when it reboots, look on the card to find 16.bin in the root.
    Spoiler:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

You will also find 41.bin in the root of the card. That's a backup of the device's nonvol region, so keep a copy of it somewhere safe. Open 16.bin in Mod_2xxx.exe and post what it shows, or if you feel confident now enable ASR in the checkbox and save it then reflash it with xrgn command. If you're not sure post again for assistance.

No problem, I'm happy to help. If you want to have MP3 and Video Player enabled too, check them as well like below:

Mod 2j3jo8w (credit to Roger for picture)

Flash your amended 140.bin back with command:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
Use a clean card with Garmin\Updater\1258 folders. Put Ldr.bin and update.txt containing the above command in 1258 folder. Have the amended 140.bin file in the root of the card.
