    Default garmin drivesmart 50 preboot mode

    garmin drivesmart 50 how to get preboot mode? I've tried holding upper left corner while pluging in, no use. The device works fine,k I just want to use Universal Firmware Patcher for Protected Garmin Devices to add a few maps.

    Hi, how did you get into pre-boot mode? I hold down the top left corner and then connect to USB, but the device still boots into normal screen...

    just setup sat nav into MASS STORAGE mode.

    1.Turn off the device

    2. Power on [preferably by making USB connection to PC]

    3. When GARMIN logo appears quickly press above and between letters G and A:
