Etrex 20X - route creation for hiking
Can I plot a route that does not snap to roads shown on map? As a hiker I do not normally follow roads, so I want to practice around home using backalleys and across open ground, but the route planner snaps to roads even if this is a completely different route. Using Basecamp to plan route, then want to follow on Etrex 20X. A related issue - can anyone confirm I cannot set hiking/snowshoeing speeds, but only speeds for different road types so the assumption is you are travelling by vehicle? Thanks for any help for this newby.
