Tool Patched Nuvi 57 sd maps problem

    I need help!
My Nuvi 57 continuously restarts after the firmware and insert a memory card with maps.
No memory card is loaded properly.

    Help me to understand.

Does it start properly without sd card?
Give more details about maps you have in sd.
Where did you place your map files? Path?
Has the sd been formatted Fat32 ?

    The device boots normally.
Once the memory card is inserted writes that restarts and so all the time.

It should work in SD/Map/anyname.img if the .img is unlocked with gimgunlock+mapsigpatch.

Check with Gmaptool if the map is not corrupted or incomplete.

Drag the .img in Gmaptool and hit "Details" tab for the log.

    I had a similar effect.
Seems that is a feature when you adjust a higher version number because it looks like the FW version is written in serveral places in the FW.

I adjust at epix from 3.10 to 3.13. After updating the device shows only 3.10 in system menue but in GarminDevice.XML shows 3.13.

It seems the device now thinks after restart the gupdate.gcd is newer (3.10 vs. 3.13) and instead of deleting it wants to do update + restart endless again.

After success i deletet the gupdate.gcd manually and is was ok.

Is there any gupdate.gcd on your device?

I did everything. Problem still exists.
With an empty SD navigator works.
    SD set is different.
Once you install the mapping device starts to restart after entering the main menu.

The problem comes from what you have in the sd, not from firmware: your .img.
Upload Gmaptool log of the img.
