Default Garmin Traffic Message Channel Enquiry

I currently have a Garmin device that can receive traffic information here in Singapore. I noticed with the Garmin City Navigator-HERE map, I was able to receive traffic information. However if I use alternative maps like MalSingMaps or MalFreeMaps, I am unable to retrieve traffic information. The ability to integrate the traffic information into the navigation appears to be due to the map, however after extracting the files inside the gmapsupp image, I am unable to find anything useful. Anyone managed to get traffic working in an alternative map using the Traffic Message Channel System? Thanks.

Map of City Navigator-HERE is connected with TMC location table form your traffic provider because TMC message is not coordinates exactly but it is only a data like that: that a crash took place between Exit 3 (location table point XXX) and Exit 4(location table point XXY), northbound on a particular motorway. Probably it are Here or the other free service provider and you can see it in traffic provider list. This map have TMC location table in TRF subfile in full img.
Free map do not contain such information in it and so traffic service do not work with it. I do not think that it is not possible to add a TMC location table by small force.

Love your wife? Buy yourself a GPS for answering to her favorite question: "Dear, where are you?".
