    I hope the gmapsupp.img file that "seller" copied in the sd is ok. They sell stuffs they even don't know how work

    Ok I downloaded the unlocker dragged the file in but nothing happened i don't think .
    sorry for being rubbish .

    No The plotter is 7410xsv .
    The guy i bought it from reckons he's sold hundreds with no problems .Could it be the plotter ?

    No, these are lies.
    Check as said with Gmaptool the FID of this map and read:
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    FID greater than 2200 requires a .gma file and it's not present in your sd.
    If plotter doesn't see it you haven't unlocked it properly.

    Edit: ask him how can it work if he named the gmapsupp without .img extension?

    drag&drop the gmapsupp.img in its window, hit details and copy&post here the log please?

    G'day Greg, no hassle mate we're happy to try to help. I've fixed the link in P#7 of the GMapTool thread, thanks for the heads up.

    No errors shown in the info and it seems to be unlocked. Do you get any error message on the plotter's screen about the chart on start up? You could also try moving the img file to Garmin folder in another card. Does HomePort show the chart when the plotter's connected with the card in it or only when you put the card in a reader?

    Cheers Neil I haven't connected my plotter on the computer yet but the Homeport read it ok I will try the card in the unit with the .img at the end and see if that fixes it .We never got any error message just no data .I pick up my unit tonight but it deffo never worked on my mates .Maybe he has a faulty unit.
