    I downloaded a locked image file from site. if i drag it onto gimgunlock then thats all that needs doing ? just copy it to 32G sd as the image is that size ?
    appreciate everyones help your all awesome

    I saw you posted several days ago about a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I assumed it was a typo and you meant 3.2GB .... seems not, as you've repeated that in so many words above. No Garmin chart or map is that size. All are less than 4GB because of the FAT32 file size limit of 4GB minus 1 byte. Any img larger than that cannot be seen by the device.

    Yes, if it's a locked image, drag it onto gimgunlock+map sig patch and then put it on your card in a Garmin root folder named gmapsupp.img [x:/Garmin/gmapsupp.img].
