Is there a way to use the Approach Courseview golf course map software with an Oregon 450? The map thread in the Garmin MAps sub-forum mentions using a TYP file, but I am not familiar with that file type nor do I know how to use it. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Typ file is a file that holds the information about how map objects are displayed on map. It can be changed to please different tastes. Extension is .typ and must have the same FID of the map you like to modify.

Original CourseView cards contain TYP subfile and to modify polygons and POI such cards do not really appear in the BaseCamp (ie they are transparent).
