Unhappy problems with .img on 64S

    Hi,

I have until now installed multiple maps both as .img, and .gmap without a problem.
But Topo Sweden V4 pro is causing many headaches.

I have tried both the locked and unlocked .img even creating .unl files with jetmouse.

Problem is that the map works fine in Basecamp but my 64S refuses to load the map!!!

    Any hints??

I'm having same problems. I've downloaded various unlocked .img file maps for instance GB Discover 1:50k v2.00 and 3, Cairngorm, Snowdon, National forest, Peak district 1:25k and used jetmouse to get the unlock code. none of the maps show on the unit (Gpsmap 64s) but work in basecamp when the unit is plugged in.

I previously had a 62s whith a lot of unlocked working maps on but unfortunately lost it (long story) so decided to upgrade to the 64s. perhaps should have saved some money and got another 62s???

Maps with FID greater than 2200 cant be unlocked with JM and .unl file.
Newer maps digitally signed cant be unlocked in 64 with unlockers we used till some months ago.
You can unlock your maps with gimgunlock+mapsigpatch except NTU (Unicode) maps.

and remember to remove .unl from device if you use the unlocker, if an .img is unlocked you mustn't add the .unl file

It turns out I was using a 64gb memmory card which is too large and cannot be formated using the fat32 system maps working fine now with a smaller card!
