Reply With QuoteTruckDown is a POI file, not a map of course. You can use TruckDown on a 255 but it won't give you anything other than the truckie-specific categories shown in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
To get all truck related features you must use a dezl or nuvi 465 ['truckie's nuvi']. nuvi 255W hwid 0827 can convert to 465 but not either chip version of 255.

Garmin 255 and truck maps
Hi all I have a couple of questions first is there a map for truck drivers to use for the garmin and secondly could I install this on a Nuvi 255?
and if possible could someone tell me which map to install please and thank you. I have looked and I really not sure what to use the only thing I saw was I think was truckdown? thanks in advance.
