Default GPS data before gpx file

I have a broken Garmin Zumo 660. I was able to make a complete copy of the eMMC chip in the device. The last route of my device is not stored in the device, because the USB cable could not be connected. Is there anybody who knows how the gps data is stored in the Zumo660 before it is stored in a gpx file?

When you say it's 'broken', what do you mean? Is it physically damaged or are you just not able to connect it in MSM to a PC via USB to browse the internal file system? BTW, region 41 is encrypted.

Is there a possibility to get this region 41 decrypted out of a garmin Zumo 660? On line I saw methods for a nuvi, would these sort of methods also work for a Zumo 660?
