    I forgive you then. I still have a working version of XP_32 and also a copy in VMPlayer of 8.1. I still like playing with XP occasionally, it beats me why Garmin is withdrawing XP support in their programs. Most of the world's vending machines and booth OSs are still XP, it's bl**dy bulletproof.

    It's because XP is no longer supported by Microsoft.

    I know that's the reason they give, but plenty of other software is still being updated with continuing XP support. I think it probably makes their coding jobs a little easier.

    I am sincerely believe what Garmin is one of participant of world conspiracy that aim at permanent update of consumer goods. Plenty of other software producer consider each user as fund. But Garmin today is much higher. Offensively that you and I have grown this monster
    Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

    Yes Giomen, we all do feed the beast [some also suckle from it, no?].

    @Caty
    Agreed. And 8.1 is much better than 7 too, at least in my opinion. I've currently trying out the evaluation version of Win10 in VMPlayer, seems better than 8.1 already and still a few edges for them to smooth off. Ahhh... I love progress!

    But it is more expensive Ragged units are not flexible as I want! There are no problems with buying 2-3 new generation toys instead "iron man" but it is a pity that my cat does not eat broken samples!!!

    I once had a cat that i trained to eat only broken glass but the damned thing up and died on me before i could sell it to a Circus .....

    See Giomen, Caty and I are progressive [anyone handy with money can have new toys all the time btw, it kills my red wine budget though].
