Yes, I tried it as well, but those gma files seem to be certificates for those 12 map files, which must've been generated by Garmin, together or based on those unl files? Or something like that? I presume they're linked in one way or the other...

so, we can duplicate the SD card, right?
Are you reading the thread? We can't as we can't duplicate the CID!Quote:

I have read all 133 posts of this thread and came to conclusion that:
1) [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] during first use.
2) The method to succesfully clone a protected SD card (virgin or popped) is not easily discovered, at least it is unknown at this point
2) Map file structure is somewhat different from other Garmin units and the method to unlock them is unknown at this point
Could somebody with better knowledge confirm that my conclusions are correct? Or even better, prove my conclusions wrong.
Now, having purchased a genuine Garmin Map Pilot from authorized MB dealer (haven't got the car yet, have to wait till May) I still have some questions. If someone with the card and the car :) could try and explain, is it possible (and how) to:
1) install and use speedcam POIs, for example Cyclops
2) install and use unlocked Garmin City Navigator maps
I'm asking because my MB dealer can't help me with speedcams and maps provided by Mercedes are outdated and updates are published very seldomly (they deliver 2015 cars with 2014 maps) and the updates are insanely priced.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
You can't use City navigator maps on mercedes because of different structure.
Installing speedcams is quite simple.Quote:

Just do it the usual way. Download the a Garmin compatible .poi file and put it on the SD Card (there is a POI folder).
Or use Garmin POI Loader an eg. SCDB.INFO and copy the created .poi file to the POI folder of your SD.
Nobody can help to copy the SD card to use in other cars?
Does anyone know if we can use different software? For example, I put iGO on the card and name the exe file navi_pch.exe. However, the vehicle said no SD card with software is inserted (music from the card plays fine).
Thanks
