    ? maps read/unread Garmin oregon600-Basecamp

    Hy all,
I am really a newbie because I received my first Garmin only a month ago. I've download some maps of France or Spain or Portugal from OSM or from here, some of them were Alpina ones. I've copied the db file in the right file, I've unlocked the maps img with the sweetie createrd by Gimg, it worked fine, BUT some of them cannot be read either by the Garmin or by BaseCamp or by both but not from the same softW (mapinstall).
For instance ALL files from the sd card:
    - OSM canary or Portugal can be read thru garmin but unknown by BaseCamp,
    - topo france south-east or topofrance v3 can be read by basecamp and not by garmin
    - topo france north-east read by both
    - topo Pirineos on sd ok with the garmin, not recognize by basecamp, but the same file on the garmin directory in my laptop is recognized.

It is myself who begins to be recognized as a simple mind by myself, I am not by far a software tech. I've lost my latin and don't understand anything to this magical trick. Am I alone in this nightmare ?
    Jack

hy caty, fine with MS at 0, the others read by BaseCamp without having to do anything, except the OSM ones.
