help Suggestions to extract POI from Garmin .IMG file. Is there a way?

Hi everyone, I wonder if there's a way to extract POI data from .IMG format file.

What i've done is as follows:

    Get gmaptool 0.8.186.801b
Config with cgpsmapper 0100d routeable and maptk
    Open the file with gmaptool
    split - files for MapSource
    Compile Preview Map checked
    Split all.

This way, I've able to install the map into MapSource and see the POI but can't export them anyway.

I need to do this because want to show them in google maps.

What solutions are out there for NT and not NT formats?

    Thanks in advance!!!

You can't extract POIs from a Garmin NT .img file, since the file is encrypted by Garmin and no other program can open it.
You can extract POIs from an nonNT map file.
