Go to 2460 on-board Help files: Tools>Help>Map>Customising the Automobile Map. Read the info there regarding Map Detail for showing more streets and POIs [point 2].

Connect it to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to reload the Help folder, or if you made a backup before reformatting look for it there. You may also have other files missing which need to be replaced. BTW, it's not a good idea to reformat your internal memory unless you absolutely have to and then only using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], rather than with the standard Windows built-in tool.

To add more detail to map: Tools>Settings>Navigation>Automobile>Map Detail>More.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is for compiling and then loading custom *.gpi POI files, it does not add anything to the map embedded POIs. If you're referring to Garmin Cyclops camera POI files, go here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Plenty of interesting stuff to read here:[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Lots of info and answers which save you posting and waiting for answers.

The bank Icons $ etc are embedded in the Detailed Map as Map POI (Gmapprom.img) Is your detailed Map working ?
Have you tried hard reset ? to get all settings to default values.
Certain files cannot be loaded by Express or Webupdater (You need someone to give you a pack from their GPS)
If you can navigate then your unit is fine don't give up with it it's just missing files or wrong settings.

Did you hard reset as suggested by dasilvarsa in Post #17? If not, turn unit fully off by holding the on/off button [so it's not on standby]. Hold lower RH corner and turn it on then follow the prompts. If that doesn't help after you've again set the map data to 'More', my only suggestion is that the maps you're using might not contain the embedded POIs that you've seen previously with other maps.
