Looks like bad Sat Fix.
Do Firmware updates and all optional updates.
Do hard reset and leave Nuvi outside for 20 minutes to get all Sat Data.
When I was in the UK it was difficult to get a Good Fix in cloudy sky.
Not sure if anyone can help but i put a new map on a friends Nuvi 255W but it is not in sync IE if you are going along a road and there is a turn off I have past it with the vehicle by about 200 yards when it shows me passing it on satnav if anyone can help it would be good.

1) And check if map had installed correctly. May be you drive through basemap. How do you installed map?
2) Do you look on satellites page (put your finger on satellites signal strength indicator and hold)? Do you see sufficient number of received satellites?
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
Thanks for the reply's the map was installed through garmin express and it installed the latest software not sure how to do a hard reset as i use a tomtom but i will have a look.
