BlueChart always work on all nuvi without problem, but only old model can show spot of depth. On new device it is impossible even if you try to change TYP because this type of spot is closed with SW.Quote:

The whole point of separating the Contours from the BlueChart Map is a bit of eye candy whilst driving near the water (since the Contours can remain Selected). Also by changing the Set draw priority for the BlueChart Map to 31 you can toggle the BlueChart Map by SIMPLY Selecting or deSelecting the BlueChart Map
This problem gone out from old Garmin handhelders what like new Nuvi do not have right support for new G2 BCh. And then it is migrated to Nuvi. But one difference - there are no spots depth on Nuvi. It is headache nowadays too...
